Please vote using the Google form at bit.ly/eastmeck before 5pm on Monday, June 1. We’ll publish the results next week.
Thank you on behalf of the entire PTSO!
We will have our annual election as required by our PTSO bylaws beginning on Friday, May 29 and ending Monday, June 1 at 5:00 pm. In ordinary times we would have a meeting before one of the Spring concerts in which we would present the nominated slate of candidates and the proposed budget for the coming year. We would also present any other relevant business such as the bylaws amendments we are bringing this year. In the meeting we would ask for questions and nominations from the floor before proceeding to the vote.
Because this is anything but an ordinary year, we will be conducting all of this business through our website and email. The nominated officers, the proposed bylaws amendments, and proposed budget are below. Please take some time to look at them. If you have questions, or wish to make a nomination, please send your comments to Lia Benton, PTSO Acting President at EMHSPTSO@gmail.com. On May 29 a Google form will be on our website to use for voting. The link will be sent to the PTSO membership and through Mr. Parker’s weekly message. Results from the election will be on our website and sent out through email and Mr. Parker’s ConnectEd no later than Friday, June 5.
Please also email if you have interest in helping with our efforts next year. We have several board and at large positions open, waiting for you, your ideas and your energy. The more folks we have, the more we can do for our staff and students.
Thank you for your support of the East Meck PTSO.
