Let’s bring Odyssey of the Mind to East Meck!
This is an amazing opportunity for students who love to work with a group to solve problems. One competition is a timed spontaneous problem and your group works together to come up with the best resolution. The other competition is a longer problem that is worked out through a fun, often silly and creative, performance. YOU write the script, YOU build the set, YOU design and make the costumes, and YOU PERFORM! The more creative, the better!! Opportunities include traveling to regional, state, and world competitions!

East Meck will host our annual N.E.S.T. (NEW EAGLE SUCCESS TRAINING) on August 10 & August 11. New students and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to learn about all of the great things East has to offer, tour the school and engage in a Q & A with school staff. Times will be announced in early July.
Details about all English classes’ summer reading assignments can be found here!
East Meck families, check this out: The PTSO website is now translated into seven languages! Families can use the language flags at the top to auto-translate the pages from English to Spanish, Vietnamese, Nepali, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, and Amharic/Ethiopian. Spread the word and let us know what you think.
